WHO WE ARE: King's Schools is part of the CRISTA Family of Ministries and was established in 1950 around four pillars of excellence:
Our goal is to prepare students for college and for lives committed to excellence for Christ. Our rigorous academic curriculum, broad range of elective choices, student involvement in community-service projects and extracurricular activities are all designed to achieve that goal.
DID YOU KNOW? Over 98 % of our students go on to higher education. Our students are given unique opportunities inspired by dedicated teachers. We offer challenging academics taught by teachers that care. Our teachers are devoted to developing leaders of integrity one student at a time.
WHY KING'S SCHOOLS FOR KINDERGARTEN? We believe Kindergarten is about preparation and we prepare students to have a love for lifelong learning and a curiosity that will set them off on the right path. Students are given a rich variety of opportunities created to introduce them to school and to prepare them to be successful as they move on. For example - students get a chance to be an anchor on the school TV station, leading KIDS Praise and Worship, safety patrol, student store, student ambassadors, library or technology lab assistants, mission and service projects, the Green Team and the list goes on! Students also have activities designed to enhance current curriculum through professionals who visit our campus to enrich the lives of our students: Taproot Theatre Productions, Yellow Dyno Program, Reptile Man, CRISTA Community Representatives, Local Pastors and Youth Leaders. At King's, students experience integrated, interdisciplinary classes and labs with engaging, enriching curriculum through differentiated instruction and team teaching. Specialists: Technology, Spanish, Vocal Music, Physical & Health Science, Library. Student/Teacher ratio: 20:1 - inspiring a love for lifelong learning.
SPANISH IMMERSION KINDERGARTEN CLASS DESCRIPTION: We now offer Kindergarten Spanish Immersion. The Spanish Immersion Program is an option for students at King’s Elementary School. This program gives elementary students an opportunity to complete the curriculum in a nontraditional way - by immersing them in the Spanish language and culture from kindergarten through sixth grade. Students become proficient in both Spanish and English, while learning the same curriculum content as their peers in the traditional English classrooms.
